Disagree at your own risk President Bush addressed approximately 1,000 people at Harrison High School last week and I didn't hear a word of his speech. I was standing on Due West Road along the presidential motorcade route, holding a home-made sign and being spit on by my neighbors.

US to punish German 'treachery'
America is to punish Germany for leading international opposition to a war against Iraq. The US will withdraw all its troops and bases from there and end military and industrial co-operation between the two countries - moves that could cost the Germans billions of euros.

...The hawks believe that making an example of Germany will force other countries heavily dependent on US trade to think twice about standing up to America in future.

'Top CBS executives are deeply concerned that Sunday night's GRAMMY Awards may turn from a celebration of music -- into a giant anti-war political rally, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.'

... The CBS executive warned microphones may be unplugged on Sunday night if live performances turn political.

"It, of course, is a final option [to cut the microphone.] But it's a very real option," said the top source, who demanded anonymity.
